NMP Electrics initially carried out a power analysis test of the energy being consumed. The results highlighted certain areas within the hotel which were using an excessive amount of energy resulting in costly electricity bills. The highlighted areas were targeted to establish where reductions in energy could be implemented.
The Problem
The highlighted areas shared a common problem; they all used a lot of lighting, which was not energy efficient. The management team at the hotel were keen to reduce energy consumption and lower their carbon footprint but were not prepared to compromise on the ambiance the customers had come to expect. The lighting in these areas had to be flexible and have the facility to be dimmed to suit the occasion.
The Solution
NMP Electrics sourced energy efficient lighting which was totally flexible and could be dimmed as required. New energy efficient lighting was installed to the Clumber Park Hotel Hotel which not only reduced the carbon footprint but also saved money on energy costs.
